SUMMARY

Competitiveness is the ability of a company, a sector or an economy as a whole to face up to competition (whether actual or potential). At the microeconomic level, the competitiveness of a company (or, in this case, a destination) refers to its ability to occupy a strong position in a market. What factors determine tourism competitiveness?
