Code For Europe: an innovative public/private partnership

SUMMARY

Building on the success of their " Code For America " model, and thanks to co-financing from the European Union, 11 European cities set themselves a challenge. The aim is to bring together two cultures that might be considered opposites: technological innovation and the public sector. The initiative is called " Code For Europe ".

Cities involved: Helsinki, Rome, Berlin, Manchester, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Coburg, Aberdeen, Clackmannanshire, East Lothian and Edinburgh.
