SUMMARY
National and international rankings that assess a region's attractiveness from various angles have become widespread and diverse in form and content. Some of them are one-off studies, while others are recurrent and operate on a barometric basis. In reality, each ranking, whether one-off or barometric, measures a particular aspect of a region's attractiveness.
