SUMMARY
Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development is the integrated economic development agency for the Auckland region. Its mission is to strengthen Auckland's reputation and the attractiveness of the region. Recognizing that disruptive technologies are likely to destroy 40% of existing jobs over the next ten years and create new ones, the agency aims to develop a culture of innovation, support growth sectors, and adapt workforce skills to current and future needs.
