SUMMARY
While the pandemic and the massive development of telecommuting in France have given rise to new expectations among city dwellers, particularly those living in major metropolises and Paris, the much-publicized phenomenon of "urban exodus" is less widespread in reality. In this Analysis Note n°122, France Stratégie (in partnership with the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region) cross-references school enrolments with property prices to study the phenomenon.
